Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to the 24th Kodava Inter-Family Cricket Cup 2026 ("KICC 2026") registration fees. Please read this policy carefully before making a payment.

2. Entry Fees

Entry fees are collected to cover tournament organization costs, venue arrangements, equipment, refreshments, prizes, and administrative expenses.

3. General Refund Policy

This policy exists because tournament planning, venue booking, and resource allocation are done based on the number of registered teams. Withdrawals affect the overall tournament organization.

4. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:

• Tournament Cancellation: If KICC 2026 is cancelled entirely by the organizers, a full refund will be provided to all registered teams.
• Duplicate Payment: If a team accidentally makes a duplicate payment, the extra amount will be refunded in full.
• Registration Rejection: If a registration is rejected due to ineligibility or other reasons determined by the organizers, the entry fee will be refunded.
• Technical Payment Error: If a payment is charged but the registration fails due to a technical error on our end, a full refund will be processed.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

• Voluntary withdrawal or cancellation by the team after registration confirmation
• Inability to participate due to personal reasons, scheduling conflicts, or travel issues
• Disqualification due to violation of tournament rules or code of conduct
• No-show on match days without prior notification
• Matches cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions (matches will be rescheduled)
• Change of mind after payment

6. Refund Request Process

To request a refund (for eligible scenarios only):

1. Contact us within 7 days of the issue occurring at the phone numbers provided below
2. Provide your registration ID, family name, and reason for the refund request
3. For duplicate payments, provide transaction IDs for both payments
4. Refund requests will be reviewed within 5-7 business days
5. If approved, refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days

7. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

• Razorpay Payments: Refund will be credited to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, or wallet) within 5-10 business days
• Bank Transfer (Manual) Payments: Refund will be transferred to the bank account from which the original payment was made, within 10-15 business days

8. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds are generally not offered. If a team registers for multiple categories (Men and Women) and wishes to withdraw from one category, no refund will be provided for that category. The registration for the remaining category will remain valid.

9. Transfer of Registration

Registration cannot be transferred to another family or team. Each registration is linked to the family name provided during registration and cannot be reassigned.

10. Event Postponement

If KICC 2026 is postponed to a later date (not cancelled), registrations will remain valid for the new date. No refunds will be provided for postponement. Teams that cannot participate on the new date may request a refund, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your registration will apply to your transaction.
